Here’s a series of SF indie band Tartfui I shot with sets/retouching by Stacey Ransom. We had this set up from another production. We realized it fit perfectly as a setting for them and their travels on the road, staying in shitty motels and dealing with the shit that comes up when in such situations. And the idea of having the two-person band repeat in different instances seemed a perfect match to their looped sound that makes them bigger than life. And I think the bonus of it all was the plain and simple good time we had just having fun on set (though all the jumping made a hungover Brian a little pukey). The main shot was also selected to participate in the 2010 APA SF Something Personal show.
